MISSIONS & MINISTRIES
HAITI
We have a very active Haiti Ministry led by Kimberly Reed-Bracey and Kelma King. There are opportunities for missions work available throughout the year including, multiple mission trips, as well as fundraising events.
Women’s Ministry
Women can get involved through the Women's Small Group, which meets each Wednesday night. We also serve our single women and widows each year at the Single Women's Day. Join us for the Christmas Progressive Dinner in December, and various fellowship gatherings throughout the year, as well as conference opportunities.
Men’s Ministry
Men of every age can connect through ministry, service and learning. A Men's Bible study meets Sunday mornings and the Men's Discipleship Group meets Thursday evenings. There are also yearly conferences that offer a place for men to grow deeper in their faith through biblical teaching and worship.
Shoebag Ministry
Each year we provide Christmas Shoebags and Family Bags to families in need in our community.
Speak for the Unborn
In partnership with Speak for the Unborn, WHFBC operates as a local chapter in the Nashville area to lovingly minister to men and women seeking abortion with pro-life strategies including, sidewalk counseling and discipleship. For more information on S4U, please visit www.speakfortheunborn.com
Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor & needy. -Proverbs 31:8,9
Home Missions
Each summer during Home Missions Week, we take the opportunity to serve our community. We do everything from mowing for our neighbors to visiting the nursing home and police and fire departments. All ages can serve!
